This is an 07 Mustang GT. It’s in the shop to swap from tan to black leather. While I don’t like black wheels, they’re alright. I personally think all-black wheels leave a giant visual void under the wheel well.

Hood pins and scoop are non-functional. One of the hood pins has some kind of black adhesive peeking out from the side.

The only acceptable cheap plastic on this car are the side louvers.

With over 100k miles, it’s got a ratty interior. It’s definitely a sub-$10,000 car in my eyes. It isn’t surprising that it’s here from a dealer that specializes in cheap sports cars. In addition to this Mustang, since the beginning of the year they’ve sent us a 2000 Boxster, a few RSXs, and a 4-cylinder automatic GenCoupe.

I will say that I HATE the blacked out look... But black wheels with a lighter color, yes!

Charge him a fee for storage while its in the shop. Explain to him that insurance goes up when there's a Mustang at the shop since there's a risk of it losing control and at any given moment.

The factory leather is beat to hell. Also, bad taste. I like tan in a black car. Reminds me of dress shoes:

This is a problem with all sports cars that depreciate. It's a big part of why I could wait to get out of my 350z about 5y ago. As prices go down, the number of idiots that can afford them goes up.

Are you saying that wanting a black interior in a black car constitutes bad taste? If so, then consider me guilty I guess. Sure a little color would be nice, but anything is better than tan.
